Nesatince

I was brought up and knew my way around the 20th century when much to my surprise the 21st century came along and everyone started making up new confusing rules I was supposed to have memorized (long after it was too late to memorize anything).

Stop the Sequester

People.  We face a crisis I write to lay before you today.

On one side of the aisle in Congress are those who have slandered the disabled, the elderly, the chronically desperate, the jobless and blacklisted people as LAZY.  This slander is being used as an excuse to hold our nation hostage and threaten the global economy.  The GOP is telling us that if we refuse to further abandon the marginalized people of our nation and support tax breaks for the wealthiest people in the nation, they WILL throw our nation and planet into economic Armageddon.
On the other side of Congress are the Democrats who fear less manipulating an out of balance fiat economic system than they do throwing half of our population and perhaps 90% of the world's population to the dogs.  They are working hard to maintain a safety net for all people while we move toward sustainable solutions for everyone.
My observation is that truly professional people rise to the upper class, but dishonest, manipulative, silver-spooned con artists stealing from the economy, living off the work of others, manipulating real estate, exercising nepotism and cronyism to favor an elite and abandon the majority of Americans become the billionaires of our time; like Thomas Edison who stole the math and ideas of Tesla and never paid the man for the work he did but forced him to live in poverty all of his life by using the corporate world to blacklist him
There are probably honest hard working billionaires, but they still exist mostly off other peoples work and speculative investments or worse, corporate raiding, shipping jobs overseas, using their employees retirement to further pad their own wealth and so on.
All the reasonable people of our nation are asking is that we level the playing field a little by asking the wealthiest to pay higher taxes.  The original tax law was an indirect tax on revenue taxable activities and was meant to exclude the working class.  The Federal Income Tax was written for income derived from economic speculation of consumption of a national resource, such as mining.  The idea was to derive the funds to manage the nation from the speculative type of economic manipulations that allow people to get rich without producing, often using money to make money, or marketing a national resource for profit and paying taxes to repay the nation for losses incurred as a result of destructive acts of industry.

Men like George W. Bush would rather bring harm to millions of people and take the resources of a nation using the blackest of lies and could only get away with it backed by evil people like those in AIPAC, the alliance to DESTROY ISRAEL AND THE MIDDLE EAST.
I urge every American to do the right thing and express a mandate to the Congressional GOP that if a resolution to avoid the sequester is not acquired in a timely fashion, there will be a new impetus to expose and remove those responsible for holding our planet hostage and the billionaire's so set on keeping every penny they have will be moved up onto the chopping block.

Answering Bill Cosby's Right Wing Diatribe

This email is being circulated as the word of Bill Cosby

Bill Cosby "I'm 83 and Tired"

I've worked hard since I was 17. Except for when I was doing my National Service, I put in 50-hour weeks, and didn't call in sick in nearly 40 years. I made a reasonable salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, it looks as though retirement was a bad idea, and I'm tired. Very tired.

I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.

I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't "believers"; Muslims burning schools for girls; Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and Shari'a law tells them to.

I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries use our oil money to fund mosques and Madrasa Islamic schools to preach hate in Australia , New Zealand , UK, America and Canada , while no one from these countries are allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia or any other Arab country to teach love and tolerance..

I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate.

I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses or stick a needle in their arm while they tried to fight it off?

I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of all parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

I'm really tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.

I'm also tired and fed up with seeing young men and women in their teens and early 20's be-deck themselves in tattoos and face studs, thereby making themselves unemployable and claiming money from the Government.

Yes, I'm damn tired. But I'm also glad to be 83.. Because, mostly, I'm not going to have to see the world these people are making. I'm just sorry for my granddaughter and their children. Thank God I'm on the way out and not on the way in. There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on! This is your chance to make a difference.

“I’m 83 and I'm tired. If you don't agree you are part of the problem!

I felt someone had to respond to this ignorant right wing propaganda

Too bad Bill Cosby fails to put things in perspective. He condemns Islam using examples of crimes committed by people who allege to be Islamic. You could do the same with any religion. He doesn't like the rioting, well, if he wasn't living in a land of wealth built on Imperialism and enslaving other nations and stealing their resources and discompassionate about the death and destruction in doing so (or too ignorant out of choice to know this is happening) he might not be so rich.

Bill Cosby wants to maintain a disparate society where some people are escalated to positions where they can acquire great wealth and others are knocked down into positions where they cannot. His refusal to acknowledge this fact is the basis of his ignorance. Many people have worked hard all their lives and DON'T have anything to show for this because of disparate conditions in our and every society. There may be lazy people, but Bill Cosby knows that by towing the company line - spreading the lies and propaganda of those who ALLOW him exceptional amounts of wealth) he can assure his continued ability to earn riches. OJ Simpson was an advocate for justice in a corrupt society and the CIA with the LAPD and the Spoon Fed Media worked to frame him for a crime he didn't commit and destroy his life.

As long as Bill Cosby continues to spread the deceitful propaganda of hate, the more impetus toward the destruction of civilization for everyone. Yet his hateful diatribe is thinly veiled as righteous indignation; righteous indignation that wil be painfully overturned.

I can see that Bill Cosby's personal bitterness is translated into a hate for the poor and a justification for the lopsided economics that the wealthiest people in the world largely, but not totally, support. Many people, even among the rich, realize the injustice you create today will come to bite you tomorrow. Bill doesn't care. As he says, he is on his way out. He should be concerned at this point about WHERE HE IS GOING.

No Bill, I am NOT a part of the problem. I could have been wealthy and powerful by being selfish and deceptive, but the crimes in my society against the American Indians, against Black people and against Viet Nam Veterans taught me that I have an obligation greater than making money - an obligation that would cost me my entire life but that I pursue to this day clear-headed with an open heart and the Will of God that which is central and correct.

No Bill, you are part of causing the problems of the world and furthering injustice and suffering, but you will know this in time. We live in a world where everyone could have ample food and shelter and nature could be protected. Instead, we have selfish ignorant lunatics regurgitating the diatribe you read here, destroying nature and making people suffer and die needlessly to feed their own greed
